Thanks! I just purchased my first BMW a few weeks ago and had a blend mount in my previous car which I have missed! I've been looking for steps on how to hard wire the radar detector into the mirror or sunroof power. Any tips? Thanks again!

it is and the detector wont keep falling off or rattle. going to hard wire it in as well.

 

I ran a cable along the top of the windshield, behind the post molding, down to the cigarette lighter plug under the glove box.

I haven't seen a radar detector in a car in over a decade. I was speaking with someone the other day; we were talking about how everyone over had a radar detector back in the late 80s and 90s, but now they have disappeared, like the dinosaur. Why is that? Is it due to use off police using lasers? Just curious...
