I have a 2004 530i with the M54 engine. Could someone please tell me the coolant bleeding (removing air from the cooling sys) procedure?
Thanks
Greg

I have a V8, so I can't tell you for certain for the e60 6, but on my '98 528, there is a bleed screw on the black plastic thermostat housing (we used to call it a gooseneck) and you simply open it up a bit to let out any air and close it back up when all you get is coolant. Don't over tighten! I suspect your engine is similar. If you still can't figure it out, try google.
