I just ordered a complete set of roundels for my ride. has anybody installed these before? What is the process for getting the old ones off? I got hood, trunk, wheels x 4 and steering wheel. Thanks

check out the DIY section.i recall someone doing it

EDIT: As far as for the wheels. i had one cap damaged and had it replaced. the easiest way to replace it is to just remove the rim,and pop the caps out from the inside. safest and easiest way

I think I read a post here a few days ago about someone messing up his airbag cover trying to pry off the steering wheel badge so try search for that post before repeating his mistake. I think the conlusion was that one should cover the exisitng badge with a decal instead of replacing the whole thing. GL

yesss, +1 on that. the steering wheel badge cannot be replaced. You should put a decal for it

I changed mine recently - The bonnet and boot (hood and trunk) badges come off by putting a knife underneath with some heavy cardboard to protect the bodywork and levering off. Make sure you do this evenly all round the badge so you don't snap the pins off the badge you are replacing. Just push the new ones in - job done...GL

Black and white is not a BMW logo.

It refers to the east-German EMW, a semi-brand that the Soviets stole from BMW after the second WW.

Hi Ric,

I think EMW (Eisenacher Motoren Werke) logo is red/white though
