Hello all. Old BMW owner here who has had to deal with the pinouts in my e39 in back of business CD. I wonder if someone here has a photo of the original pin connector with color of wires ? Trying to overcome a bad previous aftermarket install job and while I assumed all was well, the back mids and tweets don't have sound. Everything else including subs sound great.
photos would be great! Looked in my Bentley but didn't see it there either.. Thanks! http://i970.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/BMWMASK2.jpg |

Sure. Let me find some things I did a while ago. BTW this is not a M-ASK it's referred to as RAD as in 'radio'
Attachment 134205 But need to know month/year of build and if has DSP or not. Normally the thick brown wire is always ground, White wire is i-bus and Anyway you can look here..... http://wds.spaghetticoder.org/en/ http://wds.spaghetti...and_navigation/ For example no HiFi just standard radio http://wds.spaghetti...123.svg?m=e3902 |
Thanks a bunch Achtung. Should have been more specific as I am in need of the colors (have the breakdown for the pin). Re attached original stereo and the rears aren't working but everything else is. Original owner had wires snipped and I just matched color for color. Am I missing a ground that is needed to make them work I wonder?
Thanks for the correction as well. So many differences! What ever happened to the good ole 8 tracks! I don't think it is DSP ... I believe it is 3/06 as a guess. |
I emailed you the M-ask diagram

Thanks Achtung. I didn't see the email, would you mind trying again? And this one is for my e60. I had done my e39 prior and found color charts for that. Apologies for not being clear.

For E60. Ok got it. Nelson29 sent you an email/msg for that
