Thumbs up

Hi Guys

Where can I look for the birthday (ex factory) of my car? Is it somewhere inside the passenger cabin?

Million thx

The month and year of production should be written near the tire pressure chart somewhere on the drivers side door jam.

Your dealer can tell you the exact date.

It's also visible in the covert menu of iDrive. Don't know the sequence by heart but if needed i will have a look and post it.

You can use the link below and enter your VIN to know the production month and year as well as available parts.

I think the time it left the factory is a couple of weeks after the production date though. The secret i-drive menu on my car shows 10 days into the month following its production date - that must be the day it was programmed (I have never updated).

Sequence for those cars it works on is;
press down 10 sec, turn 3R-3L-R-L-R, press down
