Keep sticking to facts (and the topic) and we can't go far wrong.

The consequences of the converse is obvious.

as the sprintbooster discussion mentioned you can get 0.1 - 0.2 secs improvment using it, i would suspect half a tank will give a similar benefit to 0.1 secs gain, as the car will be approx 35 kilos lighter. (water = 1kg per litre, fuel is a little less.) so, based on water equiv = 70 litres = 70 kilos - half tank = 35 kilos = 77lbs

cheers

But at those accelerations, you soon move away from the half tank so it becomes an issue of what proprtion of the fuel tank do you keep filled for how long.

As for 35 kilos, a few burgers could sort that out.

And there are many who ride with a spare wheel...

I like to know what you guy think anout the tank of petro.
Is it better for a full tank or half tank of petro for the handing of the car?

right now I always have it half tank
Depends on how much you need. If you're doing a 400 km trip, I'll recommend full tank, and if you like to save weight, half a tank. but you may need a towing service half way through your trip.

Jokes aside, I prefer to fill it up all the way, mainly I feel like my car handles better, and feels more solid when driving fast and taking curves. Overall I like to feel like the car is solid and heavy, not floaty like a Camry or something when going fast.

^^^ Agree, same way car seems more stable with front and rear passengers!
Anyway I enjoy the convenience of filling up only every 2 weeks (from full to range alarm)

You said there weren't many fuel stations in Warwick. There are.

Is there a point you're trying to make about fuel availability in the UK or some other point?

And... what's the point anyway?

Does anybody really care?

Oh, and FYI there is a choice of Shell Fuel stations within 2 minutes of Warwick town centre.

I tend to have about 200km in the tank which is about half way and it feel faster too at high speed like 180km
