Okay so i just received my Lip spoiler in the the mail friday and I took it to the local body shop to get an estimate on the painting and install and the body shop guy said he would mount the spoiler by applying an polyeurathane bead on the top and some double sided tape around the back. However I heard of the BetaLink stuff the dealership usually uses, and mentioned it to the body shop.

The body shop said he was unfamiliar with this name or brand, but if I brought it in to him he would use it. So I went down to my dealership and the parts guys said that Betalink is just BMW's name for the same stuff and that I should let the body shop use the method they are most comfortable with.

Has anyone had experience with either of these methods, should i get some betalink and take it to the bodyshop or let them decide whats best?

let me know, as I just want it done right, so I rather ask my fellow boarders for advise, cause who loves their cars more????

thanks
