There is no single "best pressure" that covers all conditions. What kind of loads you are carrying (4 people plus luggage or driving by yourself), the top speed you plan on driving (higher requires more pressure), condition of the roads you drive on (do you need high pressure to protect your wheels)...

Now that you are totally confused

BMW generally recommends 32-34 front and 38-40 rear however the higher rear pressures are part of the car's overall "set up" to under steer at the limit of traction. Dinan recommends a more "square" (34F 34R) pressure set up to make the handling more neutral at the limit.

After experimenting with various pressures I have found 34F and 36R gives a nice ride and predictable neutral handling.

Basically anything in the 32-40 PSI range will work and the rest depends on load and personal preference

Assuming that you have OEM fitment tyres, look at the label on the drivers door pillar for the size you have, figures are given for normal load and full load.Normal load values are 33psi front, 38psi rear. They work fine for me.

Thanks for the reply guys..

Yeah, I got the original 19" style 166 with 245/35 front tires size and 275/30 on the rear. so, the label on the driver's door applied to any size of rims? I thought it only applied to the stock 17" wheels set up. I'm new to this, I have no clue at all

Study the label a bit more, the range of tyres applicable to the model are all listed.
