Those of you with the Bentley manual and of course don't mind looking at wiring schematic I am in need of the wiring diagram for the passgenger seat sensor. I believe the 3 wires were brown, red, and white w/ x color stripe? Can you tell me from looking at manual where these might terminate and which one goes where?

Would appreciate it. Thanks!

C'mon guys, it's Friday! Help out a fellow member.

On a sidenote, I'd share the info if I had a Bentley.

Happy Friday.

Looks like I networked that server room! Gee guys, you e60 folks are brutal! I get all the love on my e38 forum. I am not keeping the car or I would dump funds on the Bentley. I guess no one is willing to help. Thanks anyway.

Ironically, these three wires are not in the Bentley manual. I'm guessing it is because they are part of the saftey system and none of the electrical schematics for the safety/airbag system is in the Bentley manual.

WDS shows the wires used for the "Passenger?s seat occupancy detection." It's a three pin connector: The sensor part from the seat is: white (1), red (2), and Brown (3). The wiring harness side is white/red (1), purple/white (2), and Brown (3). Brown goes to ground. Red eventually goes to the B-pillar satellite controller. Purple goes to the Car access system. The red and purple wires go to the large 25 pin connector under the seat.

In the large 25 pin connector they are pins 17 (purple) and 18 (white/red).

The connector under the seat looks like this:

*CAUTION* since this is part of the safety system you should remove power to the cars electrical system before probing/modifying/fixing.
