I know.. I know.. sounds funny, but.. here´s the issue: lately I´ve noticed that sometimes while driving this beeping sound comes.. just like the title, three short beeps after a long one. NOTHING happens on the car, no messages are displayed on idrive, no lights of any kind in the instrument panel either... What can this be?
Any ideas?

It's probably your hourly chime which can be turned off in iDrive.

Hourly chime??? like an alarm or something? Where do you turn it off/see its settings?... Actually I haven´t been able to notice if it happens on the hour, so when should this happen when on?
Thanks man!

It's the hourly chime which you can control (on/off) in the iDrive menu.
It's supposed to chime on the full hour, but mine always is a minute fast - no matter what time the display says it is (e.g. going off at 9:59 instead of 10:00 sharp....)
