So finally managed to get a used LM2 module after some hunting, wrong parts being sent, broken promises
The weather was finally clear enough to swap out and start the process of coding it using NCSExpert, WinKFP and Tool32 (first time using the last two)... good learning curve and much when it didn't go so smoothly
But finally got it flashed with the new VIN, using both Bruce's guide and much searching on BMWcoding and bimmerfourms to get things right in my head, so thanks to Bruce and everyone on there (noticed a few familiar names ) but any questions ask and I'm sure if I cant answer it someone will be along who can
Round two - As soon as all was confirmed as working, coded up welcome lights and changed DRL to use the angel eyes rather then the main beam, being a pre-lci
While I was in the drivers foot well I decided to install the boot release button that was also missing on my pre-lci.. was surprisingly easy following the guide by AlwynMike, spent more time shaving the plug on the wire down to fit the boot switch
So all done and just waiting for it to get dark to see the welcome lights in all their glory
