For those of you in NYC who have purchased new rotors, where is a good spot to properly bed in the brakes, preferably in the Brooklyn/staten island area? Can't think of anywhere off the top of my head where I'd be able to do all those runs properly without stopping and safely

You're asking the wrong question - not where, but what time

Haha good one, but even still if done late at night or super early, where? Even if done on some super quiet residential streets you're still going to have to eventually fully brake and stop to either turn around or turn the car before all the runs are over

Its been years since I've been in the area, but what about Flatbush Ave. past Kings Plaza going out to Far Rockaway? Last I remember there was a good straightaway with almost no traffic lights. You still would have to look out for potholes though.

Hmm Flatbush doesn't sound bad if it's the same place I'm picturing in my head. Quick question. You know how you have to keep driving wjile trying not to press the brakes after doing all the runs so that u don't imprint the brakes on the rotors. Well would it be fine to pull over After doing the runs and pulling the emergency brake while letting the brakes cool off?

I'd say that's a no-no. Let me put it this way: I would not do it that way.

I honestly don't know where this could be done properly. I know at night is much better as there's less cars on the road but still u have to stop for red lights and stop signs which is out of the questions while doing that. Out of curiosity, where did you do it V?
