Imho you get what you pay for. Never been a fan of rep rims, just not oem quality. Again, just my 2 cents.

Definitely go with original wheels - you'll be bending and/or cracking those reps EVERY time you hit a pothole. OEMs aren't that great either, but at least they are somewhat better than reps. But if you really want bulletproof wheels, either get original BBS (I can swear by them from personal experience  ) or get a set of 3-piece wheels, where you can swap out barrels if you damage them badly. In the Northeast, you WILL have bending/cracking problems with wheels on BMWs - it's just a fact of life, man. Unfortunately, we're no California and we have to get more durable wheels. That's my $0.02. Good Luck!

I've got a spare set of M5 wheels that I'll be putting up for sale this week...they are OEM BBS...but def won't be $750/set tho lol. I agree, you get what you pay for. Save up and go with OEM for sure...

Just get Chris's M166's bro!
He's made a great reputation for himself on this forum - definitely better than buying from some shady place that sells replicas out of Brooklyn! ;) |
