My Ride: 545i sport
Hi all, I had a restraint malfunction showed up on the idrive last month and finally got around to BMW. Found out not to worry my 545i was covered for the probable seat sensor issue. When tested they found a low voltage code to the air bag and informed me a new battery was needed to continue. And with a straight face said it would cost me $650.00 to install. Paid my $150.00 and got the hell out of there. The moral, find a good BMW Tech with their own shop. I paid, same day $218.00 to install, deleted codes and on my way thanks to Auto Technologies in Sugar Land Tx. Their # 281-5456-8000. To all just remember, man made things will have problems some time down the road and this blog has good information that can help. The problems in this blog tend to affect only a very small percentage of the vehicles out there and at the least just leave you feeling sick. A word of advice from my Tech, just drive it and enjoy!

really!! do you really go to bmw and buy $600.00 dollar batteries? My only point was, if you have a out of warrenty car, find a old BMW tech and let him take care of you. Spend your hard earned money on someone who remembers you when you pop your head in. As for the brand I'm really not sure, my service salesman at BMW could not even tell me what brand they were going to install, and was it registered to the car, the tech assured me it was. My only advice is find information you can trust. As for quit the bul@#!%, I'm not even sure I know what that means, well unless you do service sales for a stealership!
again, have fun and be nice

My Ride: A Car
Stop where? Stop WHAT bullshit? Go ahead and put in that Interstate battery for your own car and not register it. We sell OEM batteries installed and registered for $245. We are NOT the dealership and we don't create ANY bullshit so there's nothing to stop.
