Battery life/faults

I seem to be getting a lot of faults/warnings lately: SRS failure, Window Anti-trap failure, etc. that go away the next time I start the car. I'm wondering if this is not a symptom of a battery on its last legs--the battery is the factory original, just short of 4 years old ('05 545).
Anyone else have this happen?

BMW replaced my positive battery cable (battery to the front) under warranty.
They claim there's a error in design that it triggers many codes. My airbag and AS code were triggered.
If you are still under warranty, take it in if not then you might want to always battery tender your battery if you park extended time.
