Hi everyone,
I just got around to installing new front brake pads, and resetting the brake pad sensor successfully. I opened the front two windows halfway to let the hot air out, turned the car off and exited the car locking it with the remote. I heard the ding sound but ignored it, since everything that should be off was off. Walked away pressing the lock button on the remote many times.
I go outside 4-5 hours later, the rear tail lights are on and the car is completely dead. Battery voltage was just below 5 volts, car cannot be turned on at all.
The lights switch off, no idea why the rear tail lights were still lit even though the battery was significantly drained. Had to pull out fuses 5 and 6 in the glove box to stop the rear lights from shining.
Any ideas why the battery is getting drained this quick? Also any ideas as to why the car refused to properly lock and play the ding sound?
Thanks in advance!
