I've read previous posts about this warning message.
This afternoon I started my car for the first time today. Dashboard and I-Drive warnings came up (see pictures).
I backed out of the driveway, pulled ahead about 200', stopped, with car in drive, took 2 pictures and as if by magic the warning notices vanished without a trace. However, there are no residual check notifications in I-Drive. I did take a couple of cell phone pictures and will call my dealer SA in the morning.
Car seems to drive and steer normally for the past 20-30 miles; the warning came on ... and left that quickly. I trust the error is captured in the guts of one of the modules/computers.
Updated today - 07/22/08: Diagnosed as Steering Angle Sensor failure; parts ordered and warranty repair scheduled for week of July 28th.
