Availability of the New 525i Engine in the US

I am just about to order my 525i and then the press release that shows the new 525i engine. When can we place an order for this new 525i here in the US. Will they consider this a 2005.5?

so if they have to be a March 2005 build would that mean the soonest order that could be placed is in March or can you order this in January and take delivery in Mid to end March and you would have the updated engine.
I hope we can order in Jan. because BMW says its going to increase the price by about $500 starting in Jan, but I'm not sure.
