Default Auto Headlight Issue

Ok guys, my automatic headlights are beginning to think it's dark most of the time. Where is the sensor for this? I assume it is one of the 2 I know of in the mirror. '05 545 six speed, lots of miles and leaks.

The adaptive headlight light sensor, for daylight intensity, is located forward of the rear view mirror, attached to the windshield along with the moisture sensor, for fogged up windshield. The two sensors in the rear view mirror are for the anti dazzle on rear view mirror and outside mirrors.
