August '05 5 Series U.S. Sales Report

August sales of the 5 Series were up a very significant 32.1% over last August. YTD sales for the first 8 months of 2005 were also up 10.6% from the comparable period last year.
By comparison, August sales of the Mercedes-Benz E Class were up 9.1% with sales of 5,011 units this month and 4,594 units last August. Sales of the MB E Class were down 15.9% for the first 8 months of 2005.
Please note that I report only United States sales data.
