All,
I?m aware of that maybe this post should be in the E63 forum..
I have an E63 from ?04 with SMG and CIP 20.00 or 20.01 (not sure)
When the car has been out when it is cold, below freezing point, and I down shift and the engine speed is around 1800-2000 rpm the audio from the CD disappears for a second.
When the car is getting warm this ?feature? goes away.
Has anyone else had this issue?
The service rep has not heard about this.
Thanks in advance
Erik

This has happened to many of us and, at least for me, is temperature related and is common with SMG cars...

My car will be going in soon to have this looked at again -- the current theory is that the battery is weak (old) and can't keep up with the current demand when it's colder...
