The brown wood just seems to clash with the auburn interior - you'd think they would match the two somewhat. I checked through the gallery but didn't find anyone with auburn interior that has anthracite wood - I think with the black trim of the auburn interior, that would look really sporty, plus the regular wood doesn't match by my eyes.

Someone else on this board selected that combo, I remember seeing it, but dont recall who it was. I will say that the pics in the gallery of the anthracite/auburn dont look as complementary as poplar/auburn. If you're anywhere near San Diego/Del Mar, give me a shout and you can personally inspect mine.

Mine is orient blue exterior with the auburn interior... I got the anthracite trim to keep everything in side black/gray and auburn - I didn't think two shades of brown would work. I like it alot...

Cheers, Jon.

Thanks 555 - looks like the dark poplar still is the best choice. I suppose it depends on the lighting, so to those who have auburn and dark poplar, do the hues of 'auburn' match in the wood and leather?

That's my car in the gallery with the auburn interior and anthracite wood. It looks great. So many cars have the brown wood, and it looks very common. Most people who see my car in person really like the combo. Holler if you want more pics and I'll send you some.

Please, more pics. Those in the gallery just show a shiny spot. I'd like to see the wood, as that's what I have currently in my E500

How about some of the dash? I'm concerned about the lack of color
