I hate the thought of drilling into this new bumper, but NYS requires a front plate.

It appears to clip into two spots under the M-tech upper opening, and then drill into two spots below the grille.

Just line it up and drill away? Would foam tape hold it? I hate to drill into the bumper.

Thanks!

First, don't do it. I went without it for a long time on my 530 in NY and never had any problems. Second, if you MUST use a plate in the front, use this instead:

Get a decent plate frame and use 3M Double-sided tape -- No Screw holes!

I have medium Skene Bracket for sale if you're interested. I installed it, but decided not to use it. The double stick tape was not used. $50 including shipping. Let me know.

Can't say how PISSED I am that I didn't know this originally when I purchased my car. The dealership was hesitant to drill holes, but I need the front plate in NY. So, they drilled and I had this done prior to being a member of this board.

I will never do anything again with out checking with you guys. Thanks!

It didn't stick Ryan? That sucks man. I also used the self tapping screws that came along with it too. The double sided tape just holds it up steady.

As soon as I get my plates, I'm putting the front one in the trunk with a handful of these:
