OK, we just picked up our 525 today, and a friend has a 745Li with some Asanti wheels.
He's tried of the Asanti's, and he's going to give them to me, as he's going up to a 22" wheel on his 7.
His 7 currently sits on Asanti (I don't know the model, but the lip has to be at least 3 - 4" deep) 5-spokes, wrapped in 245/35/19's on the front, and 285/30/19's on the back.
According to Tirerack.com, the 5 and the 7 both accomodate 5.120mm lugs, with a 20mm back spacing requirement.
My question is, will the wheels and tires he's offering me fit, and if so- can someone post some pics of their 5 sitting on the same, or a similar set-up.

Hi
Tires will work.
What's the width of the wheels?
Normally backspacing is measured in inches not mm. Offset is measured in mm.
On a 19x8.5 wheel you can do 20mm offset in the front
On a 19x9.5 you'll want 22mm
19x10 25mm
If it's 20mm offset all around you SHOULD be okay but you MIGHT also rub in the rear a bit.
On a side note, your buddy what kind of rims is he interested in? Does he want some DPE forged wheels?
Let me know.
