After downloading and having a look through the current E60 brochure, I was intrigued to see that there is an option for ?Upholstery - Fusion artificial leather? for ?150.00.
Surely BMW are not offering artificial leather interior as an option? Tacky if it is, very un-BMW like! :'(
Perhaps it?s another misleading over complex title for something that is nothing like its title suggests!

I am sure it is an option. Animal activists have been hounding auto manufacturers about leather in vehicles...so much so that even Mercedes Benz now offer a leather alternative. IMO probably not a typo.

Ah! Good thinking, never thought of that! Though for ?150, it seems like a very cheap option? I wonder if it's partial covering or full? Has anyone ever seen any pictures of this option?

The seats in my neighbor's new E90 might be made of this stuff - if it's the same thing it's actually pretty good!!!

aka Leatherette?
Also, after 3 years it tends to look better than leather does too.
