For those that have not seen it yet. AOL did an article on the HPFP problem with the N54 engine. Let's see how BMW is going to react to this. I hope that they will take a proper action and finally come up with a solution to the problem.

perhaps mustafa550i is referring to the new F10 550i TT V8 model/engine...if so, then it's too early to tell, but that model has the same engine as the F01 and X5/6 .50, have not read of any hpfp problems as it's a different engine the N54. Even the I6 TT engine are no longer using the N54 engine, all have the N55 and again, have not read/heard of any hpfp problems....

The New TT has been pretty much without a problem considering it has been around for a while. But then again BMW has not sold too many units of the engine so if there is a problem it might not have been noticed (smaller sample size compared to probably 100K+ N54 powered vehicles out there). The new N55 engine only has one turbo. It would be interesting to see what sort of HPFP those engines use and how similar if any they are in design to the one on the N54.
