i know how
but i found my part looks diff from that of realoem and had to do quite a bit of searching to find out exactly what it was

anyone replace their and run into any hurdles while doing it?

no mention of what engine you have, part #s to verify you have the right alternator? There was a very detailed alternator post detailing exactly what had to be moved, etc. to get the alternator in and out, if you have a V8.

actually i had already figured it out taken it out before i posted this
this thread was more for any stipulation that may come with switching it
i.e.
program to car
reset of any sensor
precautions to take when installing
