My 2006 530xi is on order howver I have noticed a few members have put the wood trim pieces on their 5ers seperately. My cousin has a 2004 545i and does not have the trim, both in center front dash (above dsc/heated seating controls) nor the rear center console trim. Anyone know if these parts come with the 2006 5er or has anyone received them or any of these with their MY2005? Thanks for everything guys!

Ok Great, thanks for the immediate reply Lomag. My apologies for such a simple & stupid post, but I felt the need to know before I order those for no reason prior to delivery of my car. Thanks again!

guys, can the interior trims be changed easily. A friend of mine hates the wood trim in his 530i and wants to switch to alluminium. can these pieces be bought separately from bmw

Sure, they can be changed. I have the wood in the front center console and the rear. Repaced grey plastic. Is it easy??? That depends on you propensity to undergo a mod on your car. The front console requires the dash board to be opened from behind the hazard switch. I imagine that a full trim replacement will be quite labor intensive. I would leave it to the experts.
