Hi all
I am ordering mine in Monaco blue next week,would like feedback for performance,ride,etc
i was thinking between 520d and 525i,
any suggestion will be greatly appreciated

I'm about to order and, just like you, was torn between a 525i and a 520d.
I haven't been able to drive a 525i as UK dealers only run diesels. Also, all 520d's with the new 177bhp engine are sold, rather than demonstrators.
Let's hope someone can help us both on the performance question.
As for ride, the UK car magazines recommend the standard (SE in UK) set up over the Sport (UK M Sport) as the sports suspension and larger alloys result in a deterioration in ride quality on the poor UK roads.
The 525i SE is the "Executive Car of the Year" in UK's 'What Car' awards for 2007 and they rave about the engine. The 520d came 2nd to the Mercedes E220 CDi in another test, but that was the 163bhp engine.
I'm going for 'Deep Sea Blue' metallic. Worth considering against Monaco as it's a bit lighter and more blue (Monaco often looks almost black) but isn't too bright.
