For some reason, and it's gotten progressively worst lately, that when I shift into reverse when pulling out of my garage my car will just sit there for a few seconds and then "pop" into gear and roll on out. Sometimes I'll reverse park up my ramp leading into my garage but my car would roll a few feet (2-3) forward before it reverses! Pretty scary when you're looking back anticipating to reverse but then your car is rolling..... forward?
Before anyone says reset the tranny, I did and have done this regularly. It helps preventing the "slam" for a few weeks but no positive effect with my reversing issues.
61k, auto, and no signs of any fluid leak. I'll be visiting the dealer soon for this issue and the brake recall but in the meantime thought I'd ask around here for any feedback and advice. Thanks for reading
