i am interested in coding a couple of things on my car is there anyone available in the dmv to do this? also is there someone that i can remote desktop with to get this done? i will order the cable.... thanks.

There's no-one at any DMV that would code a car. The most the DMV does these days with an OBD-II cable is read the ECU VIN, mileage, and emissions controls.

If you're buying the cable (hopefully the K/DCAN USB Cable) then INPA, Ediabas, and NCS expert are not hard to find. As long as you can calmly read the instructions for setting up Ediabas the coding will be easy.

I believe the OP is not looking for someone in the (DMV) Department of Motor Vehicles to code his car - I think the OP's referring to geography d = Delaware, m = Maryland, v = Virginia :excl:

I would be interested in this too. I know a guy on this forum that's local that has the cable and the software but neither of us have yet "experimented" with doing this yet. For my it's largely a product of not having the time to spend on trying to figure it out. That and I've been warned that if you're a noob to coding that you'd likely need a battery charger on hand to make sure you don't completely drain your battery while fiddling around given it will likely take you a lot longer than it should the first few times you start on such an endeavor.

im sure its not that hard, im willing to try, i am about to order the cable and software for it. i have a battery charger in case it dies....
