Default anyone buy wheel bearing hubs off ebay?

i see a lot of sellers selling front wheel hub bearing assemblies for around 50 each. thats pretty darn cheap. anyone ever buy them? how are they?

example:
Front Wheel Hub Bearing Assembly 2008 2011 BMW 528i Base Sedan 4D FWD 513210 | eBay

or if you search "513210", you'll get many other results. that number is a moog cross reference number for the front hub assembly.

I have not bought/used those hub assemblies.
I've learned that we get what we pay for. With suspension components especially when there is several hours of labor is involved, it's not a good idea to go with cheap parts, even if they give warranty on the part (because labor+time wasted is not covered).

I don't mind MOOG brand. However, the above link is NOT for MOOG part. They may just be using the part number for cross reference.

turboawd, I understand what you are saying. Your car and your dough :-)

If the part was a cosmetic item, I'd buy it. I wouldn't buy cheap suspension components. I am saying this with experience [of being burned]. Please feel free to ignore my comments.

Advance Auto Parts with online coupon WD48, the part is $81.66. Free shipping if they aren't local to you. For $30, I wouldn't go eBay on this kind of part.

My experience is this...

You cannot go into the store and get the discount ordering what you want with the person behind the counter. You have to go to www.advanceautoparts.com and put in your zip code and order what you want. If it is in stock at the local store, it will show that and you order it and pay for it and then go to the store to pick it up. The difference between this and going to the counter at the store to buy it is you can use an online coupon code to save money.

The web site has the store inventory, so you can see what is at the store and what is not. If it is is something that has to be ordered, you can pick it up in the store or get it shipped to you. In the checkout web page, you apply the coupon. You can find the best coupon by Googling "advance auto parts coupon" and look at the top two or three sites for coupon codes to use in the "Apply Promo" box of the checkout web page.

The last time I used Moog wheel bearings they were made by SKF in Italy. Unfortunately, there's no way of telling where the part is made until you get the box open.
