Any way to reset the Anti Trap Function Error without going to dealer? Restarting the car isn't doing it.

Rudy,
Different car same problem. I looked at the BMW TIS tech section and the docs don't seem to be there. Can you help for reseting my rear drivers side anti trap window thingy?

i just got windows tints installed and when i got the car back it had this "anti-trap function" error going. at first i thought it was something the installer did so i wouldnt roll down the windows till the film dried up but it seem that this error is because of another reason? it didnt have it before i went to get the film put on so i imagine it has to do with the way they played with the windows??

i will try the above fix once my film is dry... hopefully it will work for me too..

Can't try right now, but by any chance does anybody know if this works for the sunroof as well? A strange quirk in my sunroof, if I go to close while stopped it stops closing and re-opens, like it hit an obstacle. If I am driving, it works like a charme every time. No warning message of any sort, just annoying...
