Get some rainx and apply to your windshield. The stuff is amazing. When its raining you really don't need the wipers at all because the rain sheets off the glass and you can still see clearly. It will help your wiper chatter 100%
yes I love rainx itis the best better than the japanese 1s
I have been useing this stuff for over 15 years
I use it all the time on any car.

How often do you reapply the Rain-X?

Brought my car in to the dealer yesterday for an oil service and they ended up changing the wipers even though they were perfect to begin with (maybe because its been a year?). The new wipers are not smearing at all so I guess they are still ok. It just seems like the wiper blade is applying too much pressure to the windscreen, causing the screeching/dragging sound everytime the wipers move. The old wipers were prefectly silent. Is there any way to adjust the pressure of the wipers? Any other ideas?

Many thanks
Use Rejex if you have any. I use it on my windows and find it better than Rain-X.

Try using these Fusion flat one piece moulded rubber wiper blades (similar to Bosch Aerotwin wiper blades used on Mercedes, Audi....). I had them on my E39 and they were great, much better than the originals. I have them on my Ford Fiesta as well. When the ones on my E60 wear out I will probably get a set of Fusion blades.
Just check the length of the two E60 wiper blades and click on length search on the left and find Classic Fusion Flat Blade. Link below.
Has anyone else tryed these Fusion wiper blades or the Bosch Aerotwins?

1stautobulbs.com needs to fix their web site.

The stock blades on my E60 look like the Aerotwin's from Bosch.
