Any idea what the problem is?
The display on the gauge cluster froze. It's showing 10:13pm, N position, and 61 left til empty. Shut the car off, pull the key out, still on. I left it overnight and it's still on. I even diconnected the positive terminal under the hood and it's still on. Everything works as normal. Any idea what is up? I'm about to leave for July 4th weekend don't want to be keft stranded.

Pull the negative terminal from the chassis next to the battery in the trunk (but do not shut the trunk) to remove power to everything in the car.

Last I checked... the battery was in the trunk. The positive terminal under the hood does nothing - it's a jump start contact point. If everything works as normal, i.e. no loss of radio station settings, then you did NOT disconnect the battery.

I disconnected the wire under the hood. I was wondering why it didn't lose power. Disconnected from the trunk, all good now. I thought it was going to be a major problem that will require bringing it to service.

My friend came to me with this same problem, I make Instrument cluster reset by GT1 and for now everything works fine.
