Any Damage driving with "DS" Mode on streptonic?

Anything will happen to it? cuz i feel more acceleration with the DS mode than D mode. I used to drive an Avalon so upgrading to a Beamer is a way different feelings...but anything wrong with driving with a DS mode?

The difference with DS mode vs regular D is that DS mode takes off at first gear and is generally a gear lower than what D is at. It also revs much higher to provide a sportier ride. No, there shouldn't be any damage done because the gearbox will change gears automatically if you rev too high for too long anyways...

Technically speaking, driving in DS constantly will make your engine run at much higher speeds. Make your own conclusions what that could lead to, but I'll tell you like this: of all the people I know, who drive in DS constantly (I have a stick myself, so I can't tell you from my own experience), no one has ever had any problems that were attributed to driving in DS mode too much by the dealer/indie repair shop. So I say, enjoy your car to the max and don't worry about it. And yeah, watch out for those grandmas!

I have noticed that the steptronic in the 5 series-atleast all the ones I have driven, still go to 6th on the freeway, but ds in the 3 series will not and only go up to 5 on a freeway-
Otherwise yes DS is not do anything bad-if your engine revs 1-2k higher. The only real thing that changes is how fast the tranny shifts and how long it stays in a lower gear when youkik ot down

My Ride: 2010 BMW 530i E61, alpine white, cream-beige interior, sports-auto-transmission and a lot more-
Try it:
Switch off DTC( you have to stay on the knob for ca.3-4sec.) step your left foot on the brake, your right foot on the accelerator and rev up to 2500rpm(Diesel engine) then you let go the brake and now have fun
