Any Confirmation when you can Order a R6 525i?

Well I want to place my order but I can't seem to get any confirmation on when I can place my order for the new R6 525i. At this point I know they will begin production of the new R6 in March, but I should be able to order the car beforehand correct?

I Placed my order in November 2004, to ensure I get the first allocation available to the dealer. If you order now, you should have a couple more weeks to decide on options. In SA we expect a few changes to items which are currently optional, that will become standard. I expect more info from BMW next week.

Well I feel that you being in SA you may have been able to order it sooner, but here in the US I think that we can't yet, but I hope someone can tell me I am wrong and that we can order now.

I read at bimmerfest that 525 and 530 production is stopping Feb thru March. This is no doubt to switch over to the R6 engine. So, April builds onward will have the new engines. I don't know if these would be MY 06s. 545 MY production will keep on going.
