My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.
Any 2008 550's race any 535's yet?

My Ride: 2011, X6 Hybrid . Alpine White , every option. 20" Conti' NON runflats,OEM trunk spoiler , LUX V3 AE's , HP Thunder Fogs , custom front bumper reflector delete........
Yes, about a month ago. Uphill , straight 4 lanes wide. We had well over a kilometer of open road . He was following me to this point then passed me prior to the hill so I hugged his tail and easily passed him and was continuing to pull ahead before we shut it down due to oncoming traffic. I was definitely faster but not a huge margin. It might have been different on the flats but the V8 had tons of pull uphill.

I haven't seen many MY08s let alone a 535. I saw only one on the Merrit a few months doing the limit, seems it was still in the break-in period.

....that's a good one, the fact that your extra 150+lbs (330kg) renders your extra 60 bhp ....shall we say less potent, so don't let the sound & fury of the V8 fool you (though it is a glorious sound 
).....because I know that as time goes on, every time you roll up on 535i, & feel you might want to have a go, I know you'll be wondering....has this guy got any enhancements
