Was leaving my g/f's apartment in Marina Del Rey around 9pm Friday night. For those familiar with Highway 90 heading eastbound from the coast, it is a two lane road which opens up into a four lane highway.

Was at the intersection of Culver Blvd and Marina Expressway (Highway 90) at the stop light in the left lane behind someone of a two lane road. Light turns green and the traffic is moving. It quickly expands into a four lane highway, I move into the number 2 lane and pass the car in front of me. Suddenly, I see a Mercedes flying by in the number 4 lane and then slow down. I know its a C class but could not make out the model. He's now pacing me. I'm guessing he wants to play. Fine.

Air conditioning was already turned off. Pressed the SPORT button. Considered deactivating DTC/DSC as well, but didn't. Dropped to the magical 3rd gear and off I went. I don't know if he was prepared or not, but it didn't matter. I rowed through the gears. I looked at my speedo and was at xxx. Looked in rearview mirror and saw small headlights that flashed me twice. Not sure what blinking headlights mean. I put many, many, many car lengths on him.

I came up to the elevated onramp to Interstate 405 North and slowed down to get behind a truck. Suddenly, a pair of headlights came up real fast and went in the opposite direction to the onramp of Interstate 405 South. It was not the Mercedes but a Honda Accord. Didn't realize that the Accord was in on it too.

So, I settle in behind the truck on the onramp and the Mecedes finally caught up. He passed both the truck and me on the right hand side and almost side-swiped the truck as the two lane onramp merged into one. Talk about a ricer fly by...

I don't know what he was trying to prove doing such a stunt on the onramp. He was owned already. Another one bites the dust.

Now, about the Mercedes model designation. I said it might have been a C32 b/c a 230/240/320 would be just foolish to try and take on a 5 Series. The C32 I can see wanting to play. I'm not sure if a C32 can keep up with 545 from a roll at 60 up to triple digits.

C32: 349 HP/333 lb-ft. What do you guys think? Was it a C32 or some punk kid in a C230/240/320 that got owned and then did a very dangerous ricer fly by?

C320 is actually pretty decent. C32 or C55 I think is faster than the 545 from a stand still but not sure at triple digits.

I missed the C320. I edited my original post adding the 320 to the list. It might have been that one. Dunno. I don't know the C class all that well. I do know that the C55 will most likely beat me even from a roll.

I wouldn't mess with a c32 or a c55 with a 545. Maybe a c32. Of course, both can be temporarily dismantled, if the driver of the MB is docile and/or unaware.

The first time I let my CPA drive my 545, he punched passed an M3 coupe in a 30 MPH zone (two-lane, double yellow lines) and completely wasted him. That guy was pissed, and I almost pushed my CPA out of the car and ran over his right leg for being so stupid.

Not sure about the c32, but the c55 will run away from even a M3 at speed.

Jiio, maybe we can have a few friendly runs with some 550s at the meet, just to see how we compare.

I'm certainy up for that! And, I know who exactly I wanna run against. I'm calling you out Hollywoodtrash!

Against Hollywoodtrash, it will be a driver's race b/c he doesn't know how to use SMG yet.

Now that I think about it more, it was not the C55. No quad exhausts. It was most likely a C320 or C32. Next time, I will have to let him get in front so I can see what I will be pulling on and passing for the win.

Ah no Quads... ya then its probably a C32 or C320... C55 has the nice quads. I wouldnt think any C230, 240 or 280 would be daring enough to try to mess with you. Unless they just wanted to see...
