Reading the online ordering guide that was published on a previous post, it states in the notes section that Color 416 must be ordered with ZSP.

(Color 416 = Carbon Black)

Does anyone know if this is the only color being offered for the sports package?

You can get any color offered for the E60 on a 550i with ZSP, but you can only get CB on an 550i Sport.

In the US, you can only get the 550 sport package in Alpine White, Jet Black, Titanium Silver, Space Gray, Platinum Gray, Deep Sea Blue and Carbon Black.

According to the US ordering guide:
Monaco Blue (A35) and Black Sapphire (475) are still available too. And Platinum Bronze (A53) is available starting in June. 11 colors total on the 550i. All other E60s have 10 colors available.

Carbon Black is an astounding black metallic paint color that shows a dark blue/purple hue in the paint under certain lighting conditions.
I think the only cars in the U.S. with Carbon Black available recently have been the outgoing M3s. You can't even get it on the new M5!

Hinckley - You've got a CB ordered. That should look spectacular, especially with the beige interior. Nice combo.

Carbon Black is a mixture of Black and Blue, very nice especially in the sunlight. Jet Black is flat black, scratches can be easily viewed. However, CB can be a little tough to match if the car is ever hit, since the car is painted with robots at the factory, everything is even. FYI...

strange....CB is a fairly common colour for the E60 in the uk.... I have and it is a stunning colour (less so in the gruesome english winters!!).... I don't think I would have bought the car otherwise...
