The E90 3 has the annoying seat belt reminder beeps. Does the 5 have the same function? And speaking of which, does anyone know if it is possible to turn it off?

Front seats only.

And Santa asks, why would you not use seatbelts?

Funny Ricracing, I always thought you were younger than that.

Or is that just insulation for the Nordic winter?

@fmai: where do you live? Is it not mandatory to have the seatbelt on all the time there?

Yes, it's a bit annoying but there is an easy way to turn it off...

WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT!

I thought I read here that the dealer can turn it off if you sign a waiver (US).

Hahahaha ya right. I doubt that. I dont remember reading that.. but if they can / would I would be very suprised.

Seriously... just get in the habbit of wearing it before or RIGHT after starting the car. This is one reminder I like to have, other reminders not so much... When I'm in a car its like a roller coster ride thats about to start... I dont feel secure if a car is moving with me isnde and i dont have my seat belt on.

Buf if you want it off heres a simple solution
