Hi everybody,
Although I?ve been reading this great forum for quite some time now, I?ve never posted so please be nice with me. Over a week ago annoying "Right Front Parking Lamp Failure" warning came up. I?ve changed the broken angel eye bulb but the light wouldn?t work. I?ve done my homework and searched the forum but no close matches were found.
I?ve checked the bulb with other energy source and it is perfectly good, but for some reason the power on the right angel eye connector is lost. I thought it might be caused by the oxidation on the main headlamp plugs. Both were cleaned with contact spray but no success.
Is there some LCM programming necessary in order to activate angel eye after a bulb change? (seems quite unlikely to me) Or should I search further for some kind of misconnection between the LCM and the angel eye that would have occurred simultaneously when the bulb went down? And if so how this can be done without taking the car to the dealer? I tried to disconnect the ?-? pole on the battery but as expected it didn?t help.
Any ideas?

Can anyone help?!
had similar issue with 06 520D - kept giving me warning - especially on start up - but yet no bulb or was blown and all angel eyes lit up without issue - allowing warning to dissappear
Change bulb a few times and ask bmw techs to take a look - nothing found

this happened to me just over a year ago for a month or so, but it was the left AE.
Anyhow, went to the dealer after tolerating it for a month and the dealer came back saying that
the problem was due to my driving habbits
Since my commute time between home and uni is a mere
7km it was not enough for the battery to charge up.
Though i thought this is weird b/c everything else in the car worked fine, but thats what he said.
Well, end of story, Dealer changed battery and everything was fixed. Never happened since.
