Angel Eyes Resistor... please help

Ok, so I purchased some LED angel eye bulbs, installed it and get a "parking lamp malfunction" message for both sides. This message comes every now and than, more so when the temps are hotter. I heard you can install a resistor to trick the computer, can someone explain this a bit more. I'm not quite sure of what I need to do about this. Thanks

I recommend you return the AE's and ask for a replacement set - sounds like something going on that resistors will mask not remedy!
