Hey, guys,
I got a problem for my car. My car is 2005, 530 with halogen headlights. There are supposed to be two halo ring lights on the left side and another two on the right side of the car. I think people call them "angle eyes". Currently in my car the outside ring bulbs do not work on both side but the inside ring bulbs work in both sides. So right now I can only see two small rings instead of four rings. I checked the bulbs and found they are OK. What do you think the problem is? Thank you so much!

Thank you very much for the reply! I switched the bulbs from inner ring to outer ring and from outer ring to inner ring and just found bulbs are OK but outer ring still did not work.

Thank you! But how can I find the right fuse for the rings in the fuse box? I checked the service manual and TIS software but I still could not find any information about these ring lights.

i dont think there's a fuse for a single angel eye bulb. What it seems like is a wiring issue. What u can do is install a 10 watt 50 ohm resistor. Find out which wiring from OUTSIDE the headlight (the wire that plugs into the headlight is, and then splice the resistor there). Next is cut the wire with socket from the bad side and splice it into the good side. Now u have working angel eyes again and can also put LEDs there.

Thank you so much, brabusw209amg! I was just reading your post "Replacement Headlight AND Remove Headlamps DIY" in DIY section and found you are an expert on the lamps/lights of BMW. And I was just going to PM you my question then I saw your reply!!! Really appreciate it!
The only thing is, I am such a DIY dumb. I do not think I can do the wiring testing, splicing and cutting. So complicated for me! It seem that I have to go to BMW dealer and told them the method you gave above. Hopefully it will save me some money. Otherwise they will charge me over $100 diagnosis fee!
