Sorry for u bro you prob did it wrong ive had mine for a while now 4 months and knock on wood been working perfect no burn'd bulbs
i thought i had a defective assembly and the dealer replaced it free of charge and two weeks later i get a error of parking light malfunction on the other light... i was pissed.... now i have to dig through the forum for a DIY to replace the bulb...

but i went to a independent BMW repair shop and mention that i want my DRL (Daytime Running Lights) on and he asked if i want my Angel Eyes on i will go back and ask to get my Angel eyes programed on and hopefully they can replace my Bulb for free =0)

It would help if you had the year and model of your E60.

LCI easy, pre LCI not so easy.
Yes I have a pre LCI (its an 07). I guess I will try hard wiring it on. What do you hard wire them to...the high beam light? and then turn on drl in I-drive?

I don't see why BMW didn't leave them on all the time for even the pre-lci as they are so unique and its a shame to be off!

I hardwired them to the eyebrow feed light before the relay which with the key in the ignition will always give them power when you take key out voila no more power and AE turn off
