Hi Barton,

Looks like you got your problem resolved, but

The E60 doesn't allow LED Angel eyes with the OEM housing, but come with a built in angel eye system that uses a single high output LED that illuminates the rings built into the headlight assembly. You could replace the stock unit with a higher output one similar to the one I used in my E39. I found my MTEC V2's at Umnitza.com. They installed pretty easily for me... but check out this video to see the installation.

mrwoodster, i dont really understand what ur saying...because i know so little about the lighting stuffs. What do you mean by OEM housing, but come with a built in angel eye system?
i dont quite get you, could you please explain in depth?

also, the mtec u use, John said i couldnt use it bcus its for the xenon type headlamp but the ones i got is the halogen ones..

hey bteljuice, the solution is buying the led angel eyes from john and possibly the hid low beam as well. i found out tonight that i do have the angel eye? but its sooooo not seeable in day time that i thought i dont have angel eye on my car? the other reason i thought i dont have the angel eye is becus the place wher i had my body kit conversion done told me that my car dont have angel eye on it... but the fact is they are so well known in the uk for doing bmw cars...? i hope that the ring will become more obvious after installing these LED angel eyes.

but i dun get it, angel eyes and hid low beam why are they 2 things? i really thought that we can see the ring is simply becuse of the light bulb ( the one located at the middle of the headlamp)? or is it a different lightbulb to turn on the ring? can you please clarify tht for me? thx!

You can see them at night very well, just not noticeable during daylight. If you want them to be seen during daylight, you need new lights for the Angel eyes.

yes they are two different lights.

Yes there is. Some people have done it here from halogen to bi-xenon. But you'll have to search the forum for that

Use the the top right "SEARCH" button. try xenon conversion, or something like that

its a long process to convert it to bixenon. The low beams is ur halogen h7 bulb. They are different than angel eyes. Angel eyes are just the 4 rings.
