The previous 5 had ambient lighting overhead (inside) at night. An "orange'ish" glow...

Anyone know if the new 5 has it? Thanks

Yes, the E60 has the orange "nightlight" in both the overhead console in the front and also has one in the rear overhead console which illuminates the rear vent area for backseat passengers.

If you go for the extended light pack you have orange glow in front
and rear passenger area.
Also by door handle pull (Inside)
also at the rear of the door pockets.
I dont know if this is standard or part of the pack. My 525 also has lights in the bottom of the door mirrors lighting the ground underneath them and around the 2 front doors

I have the extended lights package. It incorporates lighting in the exterior door mirrors, door-opener lighting, front footwell lights underneath the instrument panel, ambient lights in the front and rear door panels and door exit lights at the rear. You also get additional luggage compartment lighting in the boot (trunk) lid and door compartment.

The overhead ambient lights are standard features.

Thanks for the info all... Light package though? Never heard of it. Europe only? I'm in the USA.

Thanks again...
