Should the amber light that tells you which gear you are in supposed to stay on? I noticed for example when my car is shut off and in Park the light stays on. Is that right or a new upgrade fix I have to wait for like my amber brow lights? Will that do anything to the battery? I know the alarm light flashes all the time to show it is armed so I guess that might be the same but just wanted to get everyones input...

Perfectly normal. You should notice that, after a half hour or so, the light goes out.
