Amber Colour on Front Headlights

Hey
I am just wondering if the Amber on the front head lights is caused by a amber bulb reflecting on the clear which makes the clear look like its amber or is it a plastic amber colour part and not the bulb causing this.

I have attached a pic of someones E60 I found on these forums, hope they do not mine (BTW Nice car)

In the U.S. its a plastic amber piece not caused by a reflection.

IIRC they are clear in Australia.

Only US spec car have the amber corner light on the headlights. As regulation requires the front end of the car need some sort of amber reflector, on the E46 coupe they have this amber reflector added on to the side bumper in order to pass this regulation which looks ridiculous IMO. But they don't have the rear red reflectors though

Euro spec car have clear lens on the front and red reflectors on the back.
