i have to say bmw makes the best handling cars and brakes on cars but i dont knwo if its just me or bmw acctualy makes horible side view mirrors and i dont even have the m-sport mirrors . on my dads e class the mirrors have a small portion marked off and the mirrors bend a little more on the outside .. i think thats far more better ... does any one else feel their mirrors are too small of is it just me ?

European models have this bended bit on the mirrors, American versions don't. Seems like you got the US version overthere..

I think the mirrors look good.At least better than the e class's ones. The pre facelift e class had the ugliest mirrors ever IMO.
The m5 mirrors though, are beautiful.

felt the same... im used to big cars and suvs, but i have driven some small cars... but still compared to small car the side mirrors on the e60 is a little tricky... noticed it the first day i drove it... its just a tad too small in all directions... but i told my self that same day i'll get used to it... doesnt bother me anymore and now i think its big enough.. if the car is to be updated i think a little bigger mirrors are needed for extra safety.,,,

i dont know who said that the side mirrors are ugly i think they look good... even the stock ones... ofcourse the m5 mirrors look even better...

I misunderstood.I thought they were talking about the shape of the mirror, the housing. My bad

I havent had the time to notice that they are small. The right hand side mirror is a bit smaller than the one on the left side though.Dont know why.

Yeah, I have never thought twice about the size of the mirrors.......seem more than adequate to me......but maybe here in the states that's what we are used to?
